THISI'm curious to hear if the members here have be able to curb this type of greeting or play style from their boxers : Is it possible to have a boxer that greets other dogs by calmly sniffing them instead of one that wants to slap them upside the head with a front paw : Also, I'm taking Lola to puppy class and I'm going to start doing doggie daycare once a week. :D :P.Well I browsed about 50 topics between here and that crappy BW site but wanted to get into a few more specifics on the often discussed topic of the "Boxer play style"- plus I'd rather hear the opinions of the members here and not there :) Anyways, it seems like alot of boxer owners have a similar challenge: a boxer who likes to jump on, or paw at, other dogs faces. I have a lot of people tell me how funny he looks with a tail, but I love it. And his cousin said he was fine!His GF's mother has acted like a bitch through all of this! First,she asked for his sperm while the police were at the scene,so his Gf could have his baby!Then she wanted his car,and if she could take over his cell phone plan! The police said she showed no emotion at all,not upset in the least! If a complete stranger came in my house and shot himself,I would be in hysterics!His GF's mother still has alot of Matt's posessions,and won't give them to me!This includes his checkbook!The police investigation is still open,and I still do not any answers!Something went on in that house in the last 2 hours of his life to make this happen,and I want answers!My son deserved way better than this!I love him dearly,and I miss him so much!The people who have Boxer's with tails, do you have pics to show.He did this at his girlfriend's house in front of her,and I don't know whyHe never suffered from depression,or showed suicidal tendencies at all.He had stopped at his cousin's house (where he lived) 2 hours before to pick up his work clothes for the next day. Do you think this well help teach her how to play no quite so aggressively with other dogs : Will the older dogs "put her in her place" and indirectly teach her to behave or is that the wrong way to look at it :My son,Matt,died on March 18,2010,and I don't know why! He put a 9mm gun in his mouth,and killed himself. I am interested in how Bruno is going to look when he gets older with his tail. But this is exactly how my 3 month old girl Lola likes to play. Would love to see pics of your Boxer's with tails.
